WWE: Battleground - 10 Best Moments

8. The In-Ring Return Of Chris Jericho

It's always good to see Chris Jericho back in action and this Battleground marked the first time we've seen him since July 19th of last year when he unsuccessfully challenged Curtis Axel for the Intercontinental Championship. How times have changed. Reports say this was supposed to be CM Punk's slot prior to his departure, but Chris Jericho is as perfect a replacement for a role like that than anyone. The battle between the pair was back and forth and Jericho went a very long way to putting over the potency and ferocity of his opponent. Both men looked fantastic, but it was Jericho who came away with a somewhat surprise win. Known for coming back purely to put new talent over, his win only signals the first in what will likely be a series of awesome matches between the two, leading to a huge memorable blowoff match in which Wyatt will emerge the victor and more than likely challenge for the title immediately after. Bray Wyatt vs Brock Lesnar for the WWE Title would be a magnificent main event for a show like Survivor Series or TLC, here's hoping the rest of this feud pushes Wyatt in that direction.
