WWE Battleground 2016: 10 Shocks That Could Happen

1. Roman Reigns Becomes WWE Champion

Since the opening pyro screamed to signal the beginning of Money In The Bank, the WWE Title has changed hands twice. Firstly, Seth Rollins dethroned Roman Reigns to become the new titleholder, before being displaced by a rampant Dean Ambrose as the show faded to black.

Whilst Ambrose should be given some time at the top of the tree, management might decide to shake things up once more by having someone else leave with the gold. It'd be a big moment, one booed out of the building most likely, if Roman Reigns was chosen to be that man. The heat would be incredible.

People would claim that Reigns could do no wrong in WWE's eyes. Returning from suspension, he just waltzed back in and was made WWE Champion once again. Perhaps switching the title again so rapidly would constitute a mistake, but the company may just want that championship on Monday Night Raw.

Imagine the reaction if Roman was hand-picked to become champ again, fans would be baying for his blood come Raw. That may be exactly what WWE want to kick off the first post-Draft episode.
