8. All Hail The Great Khali!

It was rumoured earlier in the day that The Great Khali had been spotted in Philly, and indeed, he made a surprise appearance at the end of the main event, preventing Randy Orton from escaping the Punjabi Prison and instead allowing Jinder to escape to victory.

Naturally the online response was a mixture of rage, disbelief and uproarious laughter. Pretty much nobody could quite believe the insanity they'd just witnessed.

Again, quite what a difference a year makes. Would anyone have seen this chemically unbalanced booking coming a year ago, or Hell, even a few months ago? What is happening?

At least the Hindi commentary team's rapturous response to Khali's arrival was pure, distilled joy...

Who needs that NJPW spot monkey nonsense? Khali is back, baby!

And in all seriousness, it's nice to see some fans not being quite so jaded and at least looking on the bright side. It may not have been a technical marvel of a main event, but it gave a damn fine, gut-busting laugh.
