The usual #CancelWWENetwork hashtag started doing the rounds as it does after every even remotely mediocre WWE PPV, albeit with a good deal more conviction than usual. It was especially interesting timing as the NJPW G1 Climax is taking place right now, and the match quality is of course leagues ahead of what WWE delivered at Battleground.

The three-plus hour show really just had a lot of fans considering whether they wanted to ditch their Network subscription and finally sign up to NJPW World, which they've been hearing so many awesome things about over the last few weeks.
