Battleground marked the first official main roster match for Sasha Banks and Charlotte when they wrestled a triple threat with Brie Bella. For what felt like the first time in an age, the crowd were fully hyped for a divas match on a WWE PPV. By and large the ladies delivered, especially when Brie would take a bump, leaving Sasha and Charlotte to attack each other with the aggression and chemistry that they've spent months honing on NXT. However, when the 'veteran' divas got involved, things got a little messier, exemplified in this worryingly sloppy spot. Brie was on the apron, while the rest of Team Bella, Nikki and Alicia Fox, stood on the outside. Sasha dropkicked Brie and she was supposed to fall back onto her two comrades, and they would break her fall. No such luck. Brie overshot Nikki and Alicia, and they failed to properly catch her as she banked down hard onto her shoulders and neck. This is not the first time that Brie's almost landed smack on her head at a recent PPV, nearly coming acropper at Payback before this. Wince-inducing.
