WWE Booked TWO Big Matches After SmackDown Went Off-Air

Fans in attendance for SmackDown were treated to multiple matches post-TV.

Fans there live for this week's WWE SmackDown were treated to two bumper post-show dark matches.

Firstly, New Day members Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods defeated Judgment Day duo Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio. This, of course, comes hot on the heels of New Day dropping the NXT Tag-Team Titles to Gallus - Kofi and Xavier don't have much going on right now, but fans would've been happy to see them regardless.

It's also interesting that Judgment Day stared at the lights. Again, in fairness, WWE can get away with that sort of thing during dark matches, and it's not like Dominik is on some super-strong unbeaten run.

The other bout was a Royal Rumble rematch. Bray Wyatt conquered LA Knight (sans "Pitch Black" stipulation or any Mountain Dew sponsorship!) in the final match of the evening for the live crowd. WWE did, however, tack on a 'No Disqualification' stip so the brawl had some spice.

Wyatt didn't appear on this week's SmackDown. Knight did though. He cut a backstage promo and said he was now finished with talking at length about the past/Bray Wyatt.
