As the previous point outlines, having smaller rosters which are detached from one another means that those further down the pecking order will benefit from less stretched TV time. However, there is a potentially pernicious side to this coin.

A diluted roster means that in order to fill the allotted television time - particularly on Raw - the same faces will now be guaranteed to appear on a week to week basis. WWE's overall roster is already lacking in depth, especially following the recent house-cleaning of talent, and spread across two shows the problem will come under even greater scrutiny.

This means that no matter which show Sheamus is on, he will be on it every week. There is no escape from Sheamus.
