Anyone who did not live in a cave and was interested in wrestling from the early to mid 90s could wax lyrical about the skills of the Hitman in his heyday. So many opponents including Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, Chris Benoit, Arn Anderson and the Undertaker have listed him as one of their favourite guys to face within the squared circle. The range of styles of these men- from the brilliant technical mat work of Benoit to the athletic brawling style of the Undertaker also shows just how adaptable Hart was and how he could make virtually anyone look the part. The Hitman could have brought credibility and legitimacy to wrestlers like Benoit, Jericho, Malenko and Guerrero in WCW- wrestlers for the most part who were stuck in the midcard because of the dominance of other storylines. After all, if you are going to have wrestling matches, why not have them with great workers?
