WWE Cardiff Live - 10 Interesting Observations

6. Two Divas Matches. Yes, Two!

The main event didn't last very long, so I guess that explains why this unexpected treat occurred. It's rare to see more than one Divas match on Raw even with the Divas Revolution in full swing, but I for one have never seen more than one at a house show. In Dublin, Brie Bella and Alica Fox were pitted against Charlotte and Becky Lynch with Paige serving as guest referee. In Cardiff, Brie took on Becky in a singles match with Aicia at ringside, and the Lass Kicker picked up the win with her arm bar. A lot of Irish fans have complained about Becky not entering to her own music or getting a match of her own in her home country, so it's kind of baffling that she would in Cardiff when you just know that that Dublin crowd would have absolutely eaten this one up. Regardless, the second singles match came when Charlotte took on Paige for the Divas title. I have to confess that the prospect of these two squaring off at Survivor Series hasn't really excited me all that much to date, but I was pleasantly surprised by what a great match this was; it was definitely up there with some of the better bouts seen weekly on NXT that's for sure.
