WWE Clash At The Castle 2022: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
4. Damage Control Vs. Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss & Asuka
Result: Bayley and Iyo Sky hit Bianca with the Rose Plant and Over the Moonsault respectively, allowing Bayley to score the pin (18:44).
Rating: This was a rock solid iteration of the six-person tag match formula, with Bianca categorically stealing the show throughout.
Aside from a slightly flabby section in the middle it kept up a firm clip, while the heels efficiently cut off the ring and built up Alexa's hope spot.
Even so, the crowd was having the most fun interacting with Bayley, no matter that she's a heel, and it certainly helped enhance the match's atmosphere.
Overall it's clear that the ending is setting up a future title match between Bayley and Bianca, and to that end it most certainly achieved its objective, while delivering a thrilling - if slightly overlong - opener to the show proper. 7/10
