WWE Clash Of Champions 2016: 10 Awesome Moments

3. Roman Reigns Match-Winning Spear

There's nobody in WWE who can take a Spear like Rusev. The Bulgarian knows exactly when to jump, lifting his own body off the ground and enabling opponents to catch him in mid-air. Such a strategy is perfect for Roman Reigns, and makes the move look utterly devastating.

Previously, a Spear on the outside of the ring had been memorable during the feud between both men. This time the move happened inside the squared circle, and it was meaty. Reigns ended up using the Spear to win the WWE United States Title from Rusev, expertly mowing down his foe with the finisher.

Some simply fall backwards upon impact, but not Rusev. The now-former United States Champ allows himself to be annihilated by the move, and that only makes it look more stunning. There's no doubt about it, the way Rusev bumped for Reigns at Clash Of Champions was an excellent way to end the title match.

The Spear should be similar to Randy Orton's RKO, the kind of move that 'comes out of nowhere' and surprises an opponent. Reigns and Rusev captured that feeling superbly.
