WWE Clash Of Champions 2016: 10 Shocks That Could Happen

1. WWE Don't Show Faith In Kevin Owens As Universal Champion

Kevin Owens has only been WWE Universal Champion for a matter of weeks, so he'd have to be considered the most likely to leave Clash Of Champions still with the title in his grubby heel mitts. That will be especially true if Triple H does interject, although another outcome is open to the creative team.

It'd be very disappointing to see Owens displaced as champion so quickly, but WWE may believe that Seth Rollins is the ideal Universal Champ right now. Fans will undoubtedly disagree, even if Rollins is a popular member of the Raw roster currently. Even writing this is tough, but what if Rollins beats Owens, and it's Triple H who inadvertently costs KO the title?

Immediately, Twitter would go crazy with those decrying WWE's lack of faith in Kevin Owens. Such furore would be understandable, simply because Owens deserves the chance to remain on top of the title mountain on Monday nights.

Still, swerves have been dished out before, and WWE isn't the kind of place to rely on sentimentality when there's business to be done. It'd be a bold move, there's no doubt about that.
