WWE Clash Of Champions 2016: 10 Shocks That Could Happen

6. Chris Jericho Makes Sami Zayn Tap Out

There's a sense that Sami Zayn badly needs to defeat Chris Jericho on pay-per-view if he stands any chance of making his promise to someday become WWE Universal Champion ring true. Zayn has fallen by the wayside a little in recent times, watching on as his regular rival (Kevin Owens) has captured Raw's top title.

Strip away the issues that have raged between both men involved in the Clash Of Champions match on television, and it becomes clear that Zayn vs. Jericho is still about Sami's problems with Owens. Y2J is KO's on-screen buddy, so this could act as a gateway to another match between Zayn and Owens.

Alternatively, wouldn't it be something if Jericho was the one chosen by management to get the win? Better yet, imagine Zayn was sprawled out of the canvas, reeling with pain after he had been left no choice but to tap out to the Walls Of Jericho.

Admittedly, such an outcome does little for Sami, but that's not the point here. The core point is that this result would be a big surprise on the show, and a Jericho win isn't impossible.
