WWE Clash Of Champions 2016: 10 Shocks That Could Happen

5. The Club Dethrone The New Day As Raw Tag-Team Champs

Whether doctors or retirement workers, WWE's attempts to add some comedy relief to Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have largely fallen on deaf ears. Some may have enjoyed these skits, but playing for laughs isn't what The Club do best. One need only look at their run in NJPW to see that.

Of course, WWE is a different landscape, but more fans might believe a title change was on the cards at Clash Of Champions if Gallows and Anderson were more serious characters. The fact they are acting like jovial clowns doesn't completely strip them of title credibility though, The New Day dropping the Raw Tag-Team Titles would be a major story for Raw's first pay-per-view.

Picture the scenario. Gallows and Anderson stand in the ring on Monday Night Raw and announce that they successfully managed to sucker in New Day before Clash Of Champions. By distracting them with comedy, The Club were able to lower the guard of Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods perfectly.

It's a long shot, but beating New Day for the titles would make Gallows and Anderson instant heat magnets.
