5. Cesaro Nearly Breaking His Neck

There were a lot of dives at Clash Of Champions. The likes of Kofi Kingston, Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn performed the risky move heroically, landing flush on their foes and looking like a million bucks in the process. Unfortunately, Cesaro nearly broke his neck and back when attempting the same thing.

Usually so smooth and precise during matches, the Swiss star judged his dive badly on Sheamus. There was a clear connection, but Cesaro oddly attacked the Irishman's body with his head rather than leading with his arms. As Sheamus stumbled backwards into the security barrier, Cesaro came down hard on his head.

The man's legs were bending at an unnatural angle as he landed too, giving everyone who noticed it an immediate fright. Even Sheamus showed some instant concern, cradling Cesaro's head and neck with his hands and showing worry that his peer had maybe suffered a nasty injury.

It's ironic then that the finish of the match was a storyline injury, because Cesaro could have been hurt badly by the fall. Only he will know why he elected to lead with his head.
