5. Sami Zayn Vs. Chris Jericho
Result: Jericho kills Zayn with the Code Breaker for the win (15:22).
Rating: It was pretty disappointing to see Zayn do the job to someone who definitely didn't need it, especially considering how much Zayn could've used a victory here, but at least it was a mostly entertaining match otherwise.
Some of the ring work did admittedly feel quite sloppy and rushed, especially on Zayn's part (the guardrail moonsault looked hilariously terrible), and the peculiar takeaway from this is that Jericho might be moving into the title picture, which just doesn't make much sense at all.
It sounds like a broken record when discussing this PPV, but it's basically a solid match with an atrocious, tone-deaf finish.
