9. Asuka Will Be Forgotten About

This isn't a criticism of Asuka - quite the opposite in fact. The Raw Women's Champion is arguably the most talented female athlete on the WWE roster but the fact of the matter is that she could wrestle her heart out in a five-star classic and countless fans won't even be aware of it. Why? Well because the genius creative team thought it would be a swell idea to put the Empress of Tomorrow on the bloody Kick-Off show. To top it all off, she's wrestling Zelina Vega in a last-minute match built on little more than a slap.

Now no offense to Zelina Vega, but perhaps we'd take her a little more seriously if WWE had actually, y'know, built her up as a serious threat. Instead, we're supposed to believe that someone with an unconvincing singles match record can suddenly go toe-to-toe with the formidable champion that no one is ready for.

The fact that the company decided to take Asuka's Raw Women's Championship from her for the sake of the Sasha Banks/Bayley storyline only to give it back to her a few weeks later when its purpose had been served suggested that they really weren't willing to take her title reign seriously. Unfortunately, this is yet another example of that and it's beginning to look like the real entity that isn't ready for Asuka is WWE itself. And that's a darn shame.
