WWE Clash Of Champions 2020: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

2. Retribution Involve Themselves In Everything

Come to think of it, Retribution might dominate the entire night.

They've got beef with almost everyone, after all. It's not inconceivable that they'll cost Bobby Lashley the United States Title and continue battling with The Hurt Business, smash through some of the other title matches so WWE don't have to book proper finishes and get involved in the 'Ambulance' main event.

If that happens, then Clash Of Champions will feel less like a standalone pay-per-view and more like another episode of Raw. That wouldn't be a good thing, and neither would overexposure for a faction who are (being honest) already verging on that.

WWE can't resist group saturation whenever they book one of these takeover angles. It happened with Nexus, and it's happening again with Retribution. How did Mia Yim go from Keith Lee's NXT sweetheart to wearing a Hannibal Lecter mask anyway?
