Asuka is one of the most beloved superstars on the WWE roster. She has been ever since she made an impression on viewers back in her NXT days. But it did seem like WWE was totally oblivious to her value.

After eventually returning her Raw Women's Championship to her, they planned for her to defend that title on the Kickoff Show in a last-minute match against Zelina Vega. Thankfully, WWE moved the match to the main show in a change that was applauded by the WWE Universe.
