WWE Clash Of Champions 2020: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
3. WWE Universal Title: Roman Reigns (c) Vs. Jey Uso
Result: Roman retains after Jimmy Uso throws in the towel for his brother (22:55).
Rating: Nobody will come away from this thinking they've just watched a technical classic, but it was far more successful as a piece of in-ring storytelling and character work.
It did a great job of putting Heel Roman over with fans, and though Jey had no chance of winning, he almost convinced numerous times with his courageous, easy-to-root-for effort.
It ran far too long, though, and the continuous trash talk between the two men was pretty corny, especially without the ambiance of a real crowd to mask it a little.
The ending achieved the desired drama, even if apparently anyone can throw in the towel for a family member or friend in pain now. 6/10
