WWE Confirms Shawn Michaels Return on Next Week's Raw

WWE confirmed during last night's RAW SuperShow that 'The Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels will make his return on next week's RAW show to participate as build up to the WWE WrestleMania 28 event in April. It has been widely speculated that HBK will be the special guest referee for the expected Triple H vs. The Undertaker rematch at WrestleMania. The seeds of Michaels getting involved in the main event should start to be planted from next week on the Raw SuperShow from Valley View Casino in San Diego, California. What is not particularly clear at this point is just how WWE creative positions Michaels as the referee for the match but it will probably have something to do with John Laurinaitis making the call. The idea of having Michaels involved as the official is to bring extra star power to the WrestleMania semi-final main event and to make the odds of The Undertaker beating HHH again feel more slim, because of HBK€™s past relationship with Triple H and because The Undertaker was the wrestler who retired him in the very same match years ago.
