Don't be tricked into thinking that pro wrestling apprentice Cain Velasquez is going to make a fool of himself on Thursday night. The guy, despite never working a WWE match, has prior experience inside a wrestling ring and won't be out his depth. He's also in there with someone who will have his best interests at heart.

Brock Lesnar is a shrewd businessman, one who'll fancy a sequel back in the US.

WWE have a free pass here. Though Velasquez won't win the WWE Title, he probably won't be losing clean either. In fact, he shouldn't. The ending to this one should come via referee stoppage when renowned UFC hardman Cain snaps Ken Shamrock style and won't stop raining down punches on a defenceless Lesnar.

That conclusion wouldn't irk fans the same way HIAC's Wyatt vs. Rollins match did. Most would actually be delighted if it ran short and set up another No DQ chapter. Velasquez deserves a chance from wrestling fans, even those who don't watch much MMA.
