WWE Crown Jewel 2021: 35 Things You Probably Missed

10. Corey Graves Forgot Sheamus

Oops.

Poor Corey Graves had an epic brain fart when he remarked that Finn Bálor could become the first Irish King Of The Ring in WWE history. Likely getting his own back for the table/ladder hilarity earlier on, Michael Cole jumped in to say that Sheamus was actually the first Irish lad to become 'King' back in 2010.

To be fair, the commentary team made a heel bit out of it. Graves acknowledged his mistake and blamed his sources. Then, ever the pro, Byron Saxton said he'd been doubting Corey's sources for years anyway - he was glad to see them trip Graves up.

Nice one.

9. Xavier Woods Wanted To See It

Something tells this fan that eventual King Of The Ring victor Xavier Woods was rather excited to see WWE run a graphic that officially called him the winner. Post-triumph over Bálor, the New Day underdog paused in-ring and stared right at the giant tron on the stage.

That had to be deliberate.

A huge grin flashed across Woods' face when WWE ran the tile graphic. That had to feel good for Xavier. Nobody can grudge him this little ego boost.
