WWE Crown Jewel 2021: 35 Things You Probably Missed

28. Not The Kill Switch?

Michael Cole appeared to make a point to call Seth's Kill Switch on Edge "The Unprettier". That, of course, was what Christian Cage called it when he was a WWE star. Now, he prefers the Kill Switch over in AEW. Again, was this a tribute to Cage (probably) or a subtle stab (unlikely)?

It's much more plausible to think that Edge was giving a quick shoutout to his best buddy on pay-per-view. Still, odd that Cole harped so hard on the "Unprettier" chat. WWE terminology rules all though, doesn't it? Vince McMahon might've battered MC had he called it the Kill Switch.

27. That Alt Angle

JESUS!

Someone may know better than this writer, but he's unsure if that bump Rollins took (off the Cell and then through a table) had ever been taken quite like that. The angle Seth fell was bloody terrifying, and it's a reminder that going through the wood still actually hurts.

WWE's slow-motion replay of the fall, taken from a camera perspective on the floor, showed the full extent of the horror. Seth is perhaps pretty lucky that he didn't end up with a concussion (or worse) from that one. He didn't really cover up mid-bump either.
