WWE Crown Jewel 2021: 35 Things You Probably Missed
22. Something WWE Should’ve Used
In retrospect, WWE missed a trick here.
A fan held aloft his sign at the end of the Cell encounter. It read, "Acknowl-Edge". That clever play on words would've come in handy earlier in 2021 when Edge was feuding with Roman Reigns over the Universal Title. WWE may wish they'd thought of that, basically.
Reigns always encourages foes and fans alike to "acknowledge me". The fact that Edge's ring name was hidden in that request was lost on almost everyone but this guy out in Saudi Arabia. Hire him immediately, WWE creative team.
21. The Greatest Royal Rumble Belt?
Braun Strowman followed up Bray Wyatt's Crown Jewel cameo by working one of his own. No, that's a joke - he didn't. Of course he didn't. However, that did seem to be the green belt WWE had custom-made for Braun back at the Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018.
Did the company sell replicas of those out in Saudi at the time? Or, maybe they offered it via WWE Shop internationally, actually. Yours truly has never checked, mainly 'cause he knew they'd forget all about the title as soon as Strowman was handed it.
