Result: Brock uses the Hurt Lock against Lashley, pinning him for the win (6:00).

Rating: Fair play to WWE for taking what could've been the most dead-ordinary hoss fight imaginable and actually doing something unexpected with the finish.

Brock sold the hell out of Lashley's offense throughout and ensured he looked mighty even in defeat, while giving Brock a sneaky win further kept Lashley from looking too weak despite the loss.

This wasn't a great match by any means but it delivered most of the expected beats in a snappy time-frame before doing something nobody saw coming.

It might've actually benefitted from a few more minutes, but there are far worse ways to kick shows off in the very least. 6/10
