3. Johnny Gargano To SmackDown
Much like Rhea Ripley, there is nothing left for Johnny Gargano to do in NXT. Perhaps he has only been kept around because the brand believes they need him in order to beat AEW in the ratings battle every Wednesday. Johnny has been out of the main picture for a while now, he has only been called in on the odd occasion when needed, such as the NXT Title Iron Man match due to Karrion Kross' injury. NXT has proved it could survive without Johnny Gargano.
SmackDown would be a fitting home for Johnny Wrestling. He could fill out the evergrowing Intercontinental Title scene and eventually gain enough momentum to have a match with Roman Reigns for the Universal Title. Whether he sticks to his heel ways or return to his former face personality, or whether or not he brings his wife along with him is beside the point. No matter those variables, Gargano should make the jump no matter what.
It would allow a fresh start for Gargano and even better, it would mean that he and Tommaso Ciampa are kept away from each other for a while. Meaning they won't rehash their feud again and become the second coming of John Cena and Randy Orton.
