WWE Elimination Chamber 2024: 10 Things That Must Happen

2. Sami Zayn Tries To Get Involved

On Raw, Sami Zayn said he'd hit the pause button on Drew McIntyre's relentless crusade towards WrestleMania by securing a title opportunity of his own. That's interesting, 'cause ol' Sam Zayn isn't part of the field in the men's Chamber bout this weekend. That means he'd have to interfere illegally.

Therein lies the beauty of Zayn's plan; Elimination Chamber's rules are fairly loose, and workers have exploited that before to get involved. Part of Sami's plan may be to hide underneath the ring, then spring out from nowhere right as it looks like McIntyre is about to win.

If so, then he can't succeed in stopping Drew.

Zayn's story reminds one of Shawn Michaels back at 'Mania XXVI in 2010. HBK was desperate to have his day on the grand stage, and used the Chamber as his means to an end. That'd be Sami's thinking too. Better yet, WWE would have several more weeks of telly to continue the drama.
