WWE staffer Jen Pepperman has every right to be proud of recently bagging a Daytime Emmy for her direction of drama After Forever - though the extent of that pride may have landed her in some hot water.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Pepperman raised the ire of her colleagues when she brought her well-earned trophy along to a WWE production meeting this past Monday. Apparently, this wasn't just a case of the director happening to have the gong on hand, as she supposedly plonked it down on the table in front of her.

Insiders described Pepperman's lauding as "blind arrogance", with several of her colleagues supposedly ribbing her about the move. Other voices within the company suggest that the well-liked employee was simply acting out of pure elation, oblivious to the resentment flaunting such a prestigious award might cause.

Still, it's not like there isn't precedent for this within the company. After all, Owen Hart used to haul his Slammy awards around with him everywhere.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
