'Uncomplicated' isn't the right word to describe the previously-useless Battle Royal WWE had penned in for Evolution. There was a lot going on here, and it combined a head-spinning amount of booking layout with some nostalgic blasts from the past. Ivory, Kelly Kelly, Michelle McCool, Alundra Blayze and pals looks ace.

Pre-Evolution, this curmudgeonly old sod opined that the match would flat out suck. It was rather pointless time filler, he cried, forgetting that the multi-member format has been a staple of women's wrestling in WWE since the dawn of time. And, in fairness, they nailed it here. A full 16 minutes whizzed by.

It'd be hard to recall a more entertaining bell-to-bell Battle Royal than this under the WWE banner. There was a funny start, complete with The IIconics being put in their place, some fiery retro shenanigans, the standard 'Monster vs. Monster' face off and a popular ending.

That both Ember Moon and Nia Jax were being cheered at the end shows how much of a success this one turned out to be. There you go then, sometimes us wrestling writers know nothing.
