5. Asuka Begins A New Streak, Starting 19-0
Were it not for the addition of the future title shot stipulation, Michelle McCool, who makes up in nepotism what she lacks in relevance, would have been a dead cert - especially after her record-setting Royal Rumble appearance earlier this year. As it is, the last woman standing will be drawn from members of the current roster - or those looking to return to it.
Kelly Kelly's not a bad shout, but her prevailing would be a kick in the teeth to all the regulars who've made this throwaway contest possible. Having Asuka win something named the 'Historic Battle Royal' feels like more of an insult than a reward, but implied ageism aside, it'd be just the boost she needs. Assuming WWE still recognise value in their top female talent, she's the obvious pick. Expect Bull Nakano's name to be dropped when Asuka comes face to face with Alundra Blayze.
Prediction: Asuka's right at the front of the match graphic for a reason.
