WWE Evolution: 8 Matches That Must Happen

3. The IIconics Vs. Natalya & Beth Phoenix (WWE Women's Tag-Team Titles)

This is a bit of an out-there suggestion, because the WWE Women's Tag-Team Titles don't even exist at time of writing. Come October, they might, and their creation would give solid heel tandems like The IIconics a place on the card at Evolution.

There's a good story to tell here too: following a gruelling tournament, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay find themselves in the finals against Natalya and (someone like) Naomi; there other options open to WWE as Nattie's partner, but Naomi seems like a good fit for the story. Right before Evolution, The IIconics injure her and leave Natalya scrambling for a replacement.

On 28 October in New York, Beth Phoenix then makes her grand return, reunites the "Divas of Doom" team with Natalya and stops her old friend from working a handicap against the bullying Australians.

In a nice surprise, it'd be Kay and Royce who would come out on top to become the first ever WWE Women's Tag-Team Champions. The promos they could do as champs write themselves, and it'd be best to have a heel team babyface units could hunt after the pay-per-view.
