WWE Extreme Rules: 10 Matches It Could Set Up For The Future

1. Bray Wyatt vs. Daniel Bryan

One would think that Bray Wyatt couldn€™t find a more meaningful opponent than John Cena, given Cena€™s long list of credentials and being vetted as the face of WWE. But we€™ve all bore witness to the growing distaste for John Cena, perhaps no longer the ultimate coup for Wyatt. Their feud still holds great promise, but make no mistake, John Cena is not Bray Wyatt€™s end game. Wyatt has always been one step ahead of his opponents, and the strength of his family is beyond reproach. But how mighty do they look, if they conquer a man who doesn€™t have the fans€™ undying affections? Another man does, and that man is Daniel Bryan. No other WWE superstar holds the loyalty of the fans like Bryan these days, making him a prime target for Wyatt€™s mission. Wyatt won€™t likely make a move at Extreme Rules, as his feud with Cena has still got legs. But I feel that Kane is just a placeholder right now, someone to threaten Daniel Bryan without taking his hard-won title. When it€™s time for a real feud, a real threat, Bray Wyatt will have an arsenal of fear tactics and wrestling skills under his belt, after going up against some of the best in WWE (including Bryan himself, whose match at the Royal Rumble with Wyatt was excellent). Wyatt sings about having the whole world in his hands, but there€™s no world without Daniel Bryan.
