Fans less familiar with the Philly-based hardcore-style promotion ECW might have been a little confused as to why the fans started chanting 'E-C-DUB, E-C-DUB' during the second half of the Harper/Ambrose match. The two men had started throwing chairs into the centre of the ring, stacking them up in a pile. The fans chanting for ECW were referencing an infamous moment when, back when it was still known as Eastern Championship Wrestling, during a match involving Cactus Jack and Terry Funk, the two men gestured to the crowd and shouted "throw me a chair".
