WWE Extreme Rules 2013 PPV Preview & Predictions
Ryback Vs John Cena - WWE Championship - Last Man Standing Rules Ryback has lost every single important match that he's been in since his original push and title match against CM Punk at Hell in a Cell 2012 and this Sunday's PPV will be no exception. WWE have not invested this much time and effort into rebuilding John Cena for him to lose at the very first hurdle. Fortunately for the hungry heel though this match will be contested under Last Man Standing rules which means he doesn't have to lose cleanly and therefore can maintain his heel heat. He can then head to Payback to get another chance to dethrone the current WWE Champion, although we expect him to fail then as well. Expect this to be a truly messy and violent affair but it's almost certainly not going to headline the show so I wouldn't expect it to outshine the main event in terms of aggression by any stretch of the imagination. Prediction: As much as Ryback NEEDS a huge PPV victory it isn't going to matter if he fails to beat the biggest name in the company. In fact failing can only help his heel turn as he has all the more reason to be frustrated with how his WWE run has panned out since chomping his way onto the main event scene.
