WWE Extreme Rules 2016: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best

2. WWE World Heavyweight Title: Roman Reigns (c) Vs. AJ Styles

Result: Reigns spears AJ out of the air for the win (22:12).

Rating: It didn't take long for this one to spill to the outside, even if it was a fairly standard brawl, albeit one that made good use of Reigns' strength and AJ's speed. Styles' Backdrop bump into an announce table looked absolutely savage.

The Club and The Usos interfering was fairly boring and predictable, but at least we got an entertaining end sequence as AJ went nuts with the chair and like their Payback match, it felt like it could've gone either way, even if the ending was really just inevitable and Reigns ate way too many big moves.

Naturally, everyone's going to be more interested in Seth Rollins' post-match interference than the match itself, but it was a solid main event all the same. 7/10
