WWE Extreme Rules 2017: 10 Things That Must Happen

1. Samoa Joe Shocks Everyone

If WWE pick Roman Reigns to win Sunday's main event, then they may as well sell pitchforks at the merchandise stalls. Seth Rollins is another option, but we've already seen him face Brock Lesnar on pay-per-view. Add to that Bray Wyatt's loss of momentum and Finn Bálor's lack of size, and there's only one option.

There's way more to come from Samoa Joe on WWE's main roster. Once he sheds the vibe that he's only there to do Triple H's bidding, he should become one of Raw's top heels. Fans take him seriously as a physical threat too, so there'd be no worries about how he'd match up to a beast like Lesnar.

WWE must roll the dice on Joe and give him a shot at the Universal Title. Not only is it someone totally fresh at the top of the card, but it'd stop everyone from lamenting the literalness of next month's pay-per-view, one which just so happens to have the word 'Balls' in the title, should Reigns be the victor.
