WWE Extreme Rules 2017: 18 Best Internet Reactions To Samoa Joe's Win

13. Alexa Love, Sort Of

Rumour has it that Alexa Bliss is being lined up for dominance in the Women's Division for the next five to ten years (or at least to be the top star), so it shouldn't really have come as too much of a surprise that the belt stayed on her. Even if it made Bayley's recent treatment look even worse (the whole point, of course).

And she clearly has her fans in the community, even if the match wasn't exactly a classic...

Problematically for WWE, she was more over than face Bayley, but why should that come as a surprise in 2017?

But is she being protected as a favourite?

In reality, it's probably just how WWE book their heels and their faces - with the serious fundamental problems with face booking making it look like Alexa Bliss doesn't have to actually do anything to look great (at least in her cynics' eyes)...
