8. Ricochet Bounces Back

After last night's EVOLVE 10th Anniversary Celebration, WWE dropped a 34 minute Network feature documenting the current life of the indie's former star and recently crowned United States champ Ricochet (which we covered here).

It's very simple: unless the head doesn't know what the tail is doing - and admittedly, that's eminently likely - the company aren't going to waste resources profiling a superstar only to make the programme irrelevant in the space of 24 hours. It's content life-cycle 101 (which isn't an exhausting but ultimately happy bike race).

Oh, and Ricochet got heavily clubbed by The Club on Monday, which obviously means overcoming the odds at the PPV - perhaps thanks to some Three Stooges' style miscommunication by his opponents.

Prediction: Ricochet is the Phenomenal One and Only.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
