WWE Extreme Rules 2022: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
3. Ladder Match - Raw Women's Title: Bianca Belair (c) Vs. Bayley
Result: Bianca takes Bayley out with a K.O.D. and grabs the title to win (16:40).
Rating: This was red-hot from the jump, and the two women made generally strong use of their 17-ish minutes.
While hardly an all-timer ladder match, it delivered all the beats expected from a solid one, even if it lacked the creative, unique spots to be truly memorable.
There was still a firm level of brutality throughout, with Bayley selling like a champ and cementing just how much of a monster Bianca truly is.
That said, having her prevail over all three members of Damage Control felt a bit much, and pretty short-sighted booking-wise if WWE wants them to have any credibility moving forward.
But in a match type that feels so overdone these days, the pair delivered an engaging bout, even with the hilariously awkward finish where Bayley kept hold of the ladder because reasons. 7/10
