WWE Extreme Rules Review: Great Show Tainted By Some Bizarre Booking

John Cena Vs Ryback (Last man standing match for the WWE Championship)

Extreme Rules 2013 John Cena Vs Ryback Coming into the night I was mildly intrigued by this match, if for the ending and nothing else. How was Cena going to keep Ryback down for 10 without destroying any sort of momentum that he€™d picked back up from his recent heel turn? Well the match surpassed all expectations and for me was the joint best match up of the event (alongside Hell No-Shield). Both men went at it hammer and tongs and the match was at full throttle from the word go. Some highlights included Cena tackling Ryback through the barricades, Ryback throwing Cena through a table and Cena attempting an elbow drop from a balcony putting Ryback through a table. The talking point of this match however was its controversial ending. Ryback tackled Cena through the stage leaving them both knocked clean out. Ryback was then took off on his feet whilst Cena was stretchered away. So surely Ryback won? He was up before Cena, making him the Last Man Standing right? Don€™t be silly. The match was called as a non finish so Cena is carried away with his title still in tact. The end of the match will be discussed for a number of reasons. In fairness Ryback€™s momentum has not been halted and John Cena is still the WWE champion, so they have done a good job of protecting their main event. The Jury is still out on this one, what did you make of it?
