You can't blame WWE for trying to capitalize on the retirement of Daniel Bryan by thrusting Brie Bella into the title picture, but the reaction she got was most certainly one of the most surprising things to come from Fastlane, considering as it seems as if no one ever really cares much about her. She legitimately got the loudest reaction of any Diva at Fastlane. Naturally, she played to the crowd by encouraging "Yes" chants, which certainly helped her. Brie's agenda seems to have been to do anything she possibly could to play to the Daniel Bryan connection from her taunts, to her ring gear, to even some of the moves she used during her match. With rumors running that Brie is leaving the WWE soon, there's a good chance this was a symbolic "farewell".
