WWE Fastlane 2016: 10 Live Observations

4. Cleveland's Crowd Was Pretty Dull

It hurts me to say this, but Cleveland never has one of those crowds that's going to change a night. Cleveland isn't up there with the likes of Boston and Chicago, and while some things seem decently loud live, it wouldn't be surprising if it doesn't come across that way over the Network. Really only two matches saw big crowd reactions and they were the AJ Styles and Chris Jericho match and the triple threat. Hell, Edge & Christian didn't even get that big of a reaction. It was so quiet that there were numerous times throughout the night when you'd be able to hear a sole person chant something from across the arena. It could have been the card, but honestly it was just the crowd. It just never felt like anyone was on the edge of their seats or that the atmosphere was "electric" as Cole likes to put it.
