WWE Fastlane 2018: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
2. Shinsuke Nakamura Vs. Rusev
Result: Nakamura kills Rusev with the Kinshasa for the win (14:50).
Rating: It was refreshing to see Rusev being taken seriously here against a talent like Nakamura, who put on one of his strongest main roster efforts to date.
It would've been so easy for this to be a mediocre, forgettable opener in a PPV few were truly hyped for in the first place, but the match was thoroughly competitive, both men went the distance and the crowd was totally into it from start to finish.
Especially memorable was Rusev's brutal Machka Kick counter to the Kinshasa, which Nak sold like an absolute trooper. A predictable match? Sure, but satisfying as hell. 7/10
