WWE Fastlane 2019: 8 Things We Learned

6. Beth Phoenix Will Be Involved At WrestleMania

We do know that Beth Phoenix will be involved somehow.

Before Natalya sprinted down to help her old pal against Tamina and Nia, it seemed the most likely spot for Beth was in the Battle Royal. That doesn't seem to be the case now. Nattie poking her nose in suggests a bigger role for the 'Glamazon' this April. Again, we think it'll be a crack at the Women's Tag belts.

Phoenix has shown some fire during her cameo Royal Rumble spots over the past few years, and she's also displayed a keen willingness to do what's best for business by putting full-time talent over. Expect that to be her job at 'Mania as well; Beth might even be the one who takes the deciding fall so Sasha and Bayley look credible.

This has all come out of nowhere. Phoenix has been a guest commentator for women's matches before without getting physical, so few could've predicted she'd get up in Tamina's face in Cleveland on Sunday. If nothing else, she adds some old-school star power.
