So much better than a mere action-packed Hardcore match boasting a quality dynamic—the slippery, nasty f*cker Edge versus the sadomasochistic Mick Foley—this fun and ghastly war did so much to rehabilitate Edge’s Rated-R schtick. Where so many of John Cena’s rivals slipped back into nothingness after the conclusion of their programme, Edge reheated himself by literally burning Foley in the bout’s iconic flaming table Spear spot.

A proper WrestleMania Moment, and certainly the most extreme.
