A sprint between two super-over, explosive, legendary hard men each equipped with a sudden deathblow in their arsenal, the drama of those killer, protected moves was extracted to maximum effect. Elevated by the spectacle, the star power and the expert foregrounding of the storyline, this jaw-dropping, crunching sprint subverted the original squash, our expectations, and even our perception of Kevin Dunn, whose disciplined direction allowed us to surprise-pop at Goldberg’s early jump scare.
A showcase of Lesnar’s leap-frogging athleticism and the best of Da Man, this was awesome atonement.
