The highlights of Kurt Angle’s first run with WWE include winning the World Championship six times and the 2000 King of the Ring tournament. The Olympic Gold Medalist was also part of the so-called SmackDown Six from 2002 to 2003. One of the most memorable spots during this period featured Angle throwing Edge off the top rope with an Angle Slam.

Angle’s matches at WrestleMania from 2003 to 2006 have been hailed as “classics” by fans. Three of those were World Championship matches while the remaining one was a grudge match between two future Hall of Famers.

At WrestleMania XIX, Angle hurled Brock Lesnar to the top turnbuckle with a vicious German Suplex. Eddie Guerrero survived an Avalanche Overhead Belly-To-Belly Suplex to retain his title at WrestleMania XX.

A year later, he nailed Shawn Michaels with a unique Angle Slam, smashing HBK back-first into the ring post. And while Rey Mysterio winning the World Title at WrestleMania 22 was the best moment of the night, Angle delivering a German Suplex to both Mysterio and Randy Orton was the craziest spot of the match…
