As part of 'Taker's mid-1994 rebirth, his entrance received a major update. Not only did it plunge arenas into darkness, it also introduced us to the blue lighting (an element he still uses today) and incorporated the thunder and lightning effects.
He brought that updated entrance to the 'Showcase of the Immortals' the following year as he battled King Kong Bundy. While the arrival itself was essentially the same as his weekly entrances, it was certainly enhanced by the setting.
The first of three WrestleManias to utilise the New Generation's casket-shaped staging, it proved to be an appropriate addition to the intimidating entrance, as the sight of Undertaker's silhouette appearing in the aisle was like something out of a nightmare.
