WWE's year of intensely counter-programming AEW will continue on 12 July, when the NXT Great American Bash event goes head-to-head with All In Texas.

Wrestlenomics' Brandon Thurston reported the direct clash on Twitter, posting that per internal WWE messaging, Great American Bash takes place at Center Stage Theater in Atlanta, Georgia before that evening's Saturday Night's Main Event taping. This places it in direct competition with the AEW pay-per-view, All In Texas.

WWE (NXT)Great American Bash will be on July 12 at Center Stage Theater in Atlanta, taking place before Saturday Night’s Main Event that evening, according to internal messaging at WWE. Great American Bash will therefore go head-to-head with AEW All In.

WWE announced that Great American Bash would take place during the weekend of 12/13 July during last Saturday's SNME taping (24 May) without confirming a specific date and time. The aforementioned SNME show (12 July) is also set for the weekend, plus the returning all-women's premium live event, Evolution (13 July).

AEW announced All In Texas in August 2024. The event is to have an earlier-than-usual start time of 2 PM Central.

WWE is also set to run a European tour at the same time as AEW's Forbidden Door show in London on 24 August. Last Sunday (25 May), NXT Battleground ran opposite AEW Double Or Nothing.

AEW founder and CEO Tony Khan was asked about WWE's counter-programming during the post-Double Or Nothing media scrum, saying:

“It’s pretty consistent. I’d say it’s the most consistent event head-to-head scheduling since Jim Crockett Promotions. Saw a lot of scheduling that went that way. And I can tell you that this will go a lot differently than that did.”
